Art Club is teaming up with Segar Design to hold a one-off art-making workshop at the In Black Concept gallery. Surrounded by inspirational objects and forms of the gallery, over the course of the workshop we venture into various drawing and painting techniques exploring the concept of reduction, taking away the distractions of colour and focusing on texture and form. The workshop is structured so you are supported through the making process, but still have room to add your own flair to the work. Art-making is not limited by what you see, it’s about capturing the essence of an experience. This workshop will have a relaxing and therapeutic style, suitable for any level. All materials are supplied, and you take home the artwork that you create. Capapes will also be served alongside a Signature Six Spiced, Ginger, Mint & Lime 'Cantails' by Honest. Tickets are available to purchase online or in-store at 78 Mackelvie St, Ponsonby, Auckland. If the workshop is cancelled due to Covid restrictions, a full refund will be provided.
